The popular IBEST program is beginning recruitment for Winter and Spring quarters. IBEST stands for (Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training. ESL students in levels 4 and 5, plus second language ABE students are eligible for this great program. Students learn language along with maketable workplace skills. This year’s program will teach the skills necessary for a Microsoft Office certificate. Winter quarter 2008 will focus on Word & Excel and Spring quarter will cover Access, PowerPoint and job search skills. Students who are interested should apply through their instructor before November 20, 2007.
